Burlesque Night@Bohemia and Teddy Bear

On Wednesday night after work, I went out with my friend from uni.

Weird, we've met in Japan, and I had absolutely no idea that she lives here.
Well she is mix of Japanese mum and Aussie dad so I had a faint idea that she might but I thought she is from Perth so I didn't thought she lives in Melbourne!

We went to Bohemia to watch cabaret/burlesque. It was her first time hehe :P

Introducing someone to this burlesque world is a bit tricky, but usually girls are always interested. Boys, they get frowned a bit sometimes lol.

Anyhow,  Bohemia is the place I watched burlesque show for the first time. My friend, bartender used to work with them as an opening staff, so I was told to come and see it.

First night, that was just so...interesting.

It's not like watching porn, but not like comedy either.
It was the Art of Tease.

Wednesday was not all about burlesque so I'll definitely ask her out to join me for saturday night or friday night show :)

Today, I got a teddy from my bestie in Japan. I sent her kangaroo one last week, and boom, she sent me a starbucks bearista.

We have met in Starbucks in 2007. We have been working together for 3 years and we became good friends and she is like my lil sister. I miss her so much, so I asked her to send something that I can take to everywhere and hang out together, just like old days :)

I haven't named him yet so I have to think about it but can't think of any! :P

Then I went to yoga, which was the hardest class I've ever taken! :( Well I had massage this evening, so it's all good! :)

Dinner was easy garlic prawn and chorizo with coriander and olives and tomato :)

So addicted to chorizo lately! :D Yum!!!

Crazy Wednesday

Oh well...It was crazy busy at work today!!!!! But it wasnt that busy like my previous starbucks shop, so I could manage to keep myself cool!! But I got this really hot boiled water on my left arm and then pretty hot steamed milk on the same place..not funny but I enjoyed this crazy busy day and I kinda loved it. My partners at starbucks are all awesome, and I really LOVE them!!! <3

So,today is the last day of the Hamamatsu festival. I finished work at 5p.m. and then I was chatting with my old friends from high school, and then I went out for dinner with my family, and we also checked out the festival! I've took some pics and also the videos! Enjoy!

From tomorrow, no more work for 8 days!! HELLOOOO MY BREAKS!!! hehe
I have no plans yet but am gonna think something to do tonight!!

Good night!! xox

Summer is comin'!!

G'day people!
How was your weekend? Here in Japan, We are having "Golden Week", which is a kind of a short break(usually 6-10days off). BUUUUUTTT!!!! I've been working at Starbucks coffee (for 4 years now) and as you know, we are busy on weekends and on holidays, so I have to work so hard while everyone is on breaks. Well, luckily I am having MY Golden Week after the real one(8days off!!!). I'm very looking forward to it!!:)
Well, in my city, we are having a BIG festival here...

Well, this is pretty huge festival, so yeh I'm always tired lately :(

BUT!! IT'S FINALLY 46DAYS UNTIL AUSTRALIA!!!!!!
I just cant wait!! :)
I've been to Brisbane for a couple of times, but havent been to Melbourne yet!!!! I really cant wait to see my friends and explore the Melb!!! :)

Oh and one of my ex starbucks partners is quitting soon (she is in my previous shop) for her full time job, so I am going to see her for farewell! My other ex partners are making her a photo album, so I took this for her. She loves me doing crazy stuff!!

I hope she loves this crazy foto!!

Oh and I'm having bbq party (yup, another starbucks party) at the end of this month!
I really cant wait, but wondering what to wear for it!

Hope everyone has a lovely night and a day tomorrow! xox

backpackers

yesterday+today, i had classes at uni. so i had to go to nagoya!
but its early so ive decided to stay at backpackers hostel for one night :)
after uni, i met the girls who went to australia together in this jan and feb, and we went to Gifu pref.!! it was 2-hour drive but we had so much fun in my friend's car! :) and it was the first time for me to visit gifu! :D heaps of fun! :)
then we came back to nagoya, they dropped me off at kanayama station where the hostel is located! :) it was already 10pm! then i arrived at the hostel and i shared a room with 3 other visitors!
they are from tokyo(japan), u.s(but she has been living in hiroshima, japan, for 2 years as an english oral communication teacher) and spain! we talked and talked and talked about alot of things in english. it really was good experience for me since i havent talked in english for awhile! ive asked some good spanish singers but i couldnt remember everyone..lol i only remember the word "flores" (not sure about the spelling) which means flower in english. i could memorise this word because its exactly same as indonesian :) they all visited alot of places in the world! :) i was listening their trip stories and now im hoping to visit many many many places later in my future! spain sounds sooooooooooooo nice! XD she doesnt speak english well but she is so passionate and challenging! i felt like japanese should be like her even if our english skills are really poor!!!!! :)
anyway i cant wait to go that hostel again! :) probably on next mon again! :D
